Attention Hounds

Don't you hate it when you go to a funeral or memorial service and people that barely even knew the dearly departed are suddenly they're best friends? Last night at Travis's memorial this girl that had known Travis barely a month before he died and didn't even really know him (she just thought he was good looking) showed up. She was at the funeral too, bawling her eyes out like they'd known each other years and were super close. Last night she was trying to talk about how much she misses him every day and all the things they did together. Okay, 1. they never hung out or did anything together, they barely knew each other at all. 2, you don't come to a place where his family and actual friends are celebrating his life and mourning his death. I was so angry with her, finally she left realizing that she was making a fool of herself, and that she wasn't getting sympathy or positive attention from anyone. I really just hate people that are so attention hungry, that they would disrespect someone who has died and their friends and family so much.
