Elephant Road
When she was four years old Sarah's family moved into a new subdivision in their town. The streets were named after different wild animals. She lived on the corner of Elephant Road and Zebra Ave. She watched as new streets developed as she was growing up. Two blocks over they built large tudor homes on Girraffe Street. A new family moved in when she was fifteen. They had a son the same age as her named Taylor. Every day in the summer she and Taylor walked along the side of the streets talking laughing and joking. One night they were standing there on the corner of Elephant Road and Zebra Ave. Before she walked up her driveway to go into her house he grabbed her hand, whispered I love you, and kissed her cheek. She will forever remember falling in love on the corner of elephant street.
