A whoosh and a swish
The wind in my face
In the night air’s cool embrace
This is a feeling anyone else could only wish
Soaring through a cloud
The green earth below
Feeling so proud
I wish I could go
But alas all I see is bars no winds of the night
Wanting nothing more than to fly
Stretch my wings and take flight
This is the reason for an owl’s cry
